ESPEROS SOHO is exactly the type of brand that we love to work with here at Verb: ambitious, dynamic, and idealistic. The fashion company, founded by Sid Jawahar, opened its first store in downtown Austin in 2017. ESPEROS SOHO dedicates itself to high-quality, functional, and stylish women’s handbags at an attainable price point. True to its mission, ESPEROS SOHO also donates a proceed of all sales to notable charities such as The Nobelity Project, Pencils of Promise and Komera with the goal of sponsoring a year of education for women and children. Its fashionable products and socially minded mission will help the company continue to grow for years to come.

Indeed, that’s where Trend can help. As a relatively new company, ESPEROS SOHO was hoping to grow its brand awareness and help drive sales. After an in-person listening sessions where the ESPEROS SOHO team explained what they specifically wanted out of a social media marketing campaign, Trend got to work. We prepared a small but targeted campaign where fashion influencers would receive a complementary product in exchange for a post. Verb coordinated the details and logistics, ensuring that the ESPEROS SOHO team was free to focus on actually running their business.

Over the course of a few weeks, 10 influencers were selected using key metrics such as engagement levels and the percentage of real U.S based followers and sent an ESPEROS SOHO handbag of their choice. In total, more than 22,000 likes and hundreds of comments have been generated. Crucially, most influencers selected are active on Like to Know It, an app that allows views to instantly shop the look of their favorite influencers. Additionally, all the influencers created stunning, professional images that can now be used by ESPEROS SOHO in future promotions. Overall, ESPEROS SOHO has been pleased with the campaign, and especially the way everything happens in one well designed, fluid app. As an invite only community, the ESPEROS SOHO team has also mentioned how easy it is to communicate and work with influencers using the app.

The ESPEROS SOHO campaign demonstrates the real appeal and effectiveness of social media marketing - when done correctly.
